JD Creator Collective: Privacy Notice

What this covers

This notice explains how JD Sports Canada handles the information you give us when you apply to the JD Creator Collective. It sits alongside the JD Sports Canada Privacy Policy, linked, which covers our wider practices.

What we collect

• Your name and contact details

• Your city and preferred language

• Your social media handles

• Links to content you have made

• Anything else you choose to tell us in the application

Why we collect it

To review your application, decide who to invite into the program, contact you about the outcome, and administer the program if you join. We also use aggregate information about applications, such as how many we receive and from where, to plan future intakes.

Who sees it

Your application is reviewed by the JD Sports Canada marketing team and named agency partners, if applicable. We do not sell your information or share it for anyone else's marketing.

Where it is stored

Applications are collected through Jotform, our form provider, and stored on their servers. Jotform hosts data with Google Cloud and AWS.

How long we keep it

We keep applications for up to 12 months so we can consider you for future Creator Collective opportunities, and then remove them. If you join the program, information relating to your participation is kept under the terms of your creator agreement.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, correct anything that is wrong, remove your application, or withdraw your consent. Withdrawing consent means we can no longer consider your application. Contact our Privacy Team at privacy@finishline.com and we will respond to your request in accordance with applicable law.

If you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or the Commission d'accès à l'information du Québec if you live in Quebec.

Marketing

Applying does not sign you up for marketing emails. If you would like those, there is a separate option on the form.

If we change this notice, the current version will always be posted here.
