Holiday Returns

For orders placed between November 14th and December 10th 2024, enjoy the convenience of returning your purchases until January 7th, 2025. 

Orders placed between December 11 and December 25 can be returned within 28 days after the purchase.

To ensure a high quality of service during the holiday season, please note that in-store returns or exchanges will not be accepted on December 26, 2024.

Make sure your gifts arrive on time! Place your order by 11:59pm PST December 15th to receive it before the holidays.

Returning a Purchase

Our Policy offers you 30 days from the date of purchase to receive a full refund, exchange or store credit. Some exclusions may apply. Items ineligible for a refund will be indicated as such on the Product’s webpage. 

In most cases, whether your purchase was made at a JD Sports store or online at JDSports.ca, merchandise may be returned and be eligible for a full refund with an original sales receipt when the items are: 

  • Unworn, in original condition;
  • Returned with price tags still attached (if the returned item is apparel or accessories); 
  • Returned in their original packaging or box (if the returned item is footwear); and 
  • Returned within 30 days of the original purchase. 

We reserve the right to determine whether merchandise without an original sales receipt may be returned. If we determine that a return is warranted despite the lack of an original sales receipt, the item(s) can only be an exchange or store credit issued in the amount of the lowest price at which the item was offered for sale in the 30 day period prior to the return. No refunds will be provided in these circumstances. 

When returning or exchanging an item, you may be asked to provide your name and phone number. That information and the details of your return will be recorded in a company-wide database that we and our affiliates use to authorize returns, subject to our Privacy Policy.

If you purchased an item from a JD Sports store or online, you can simply return your item at any JD Sports store. Items purchased online may also be returned by mail to our warehouse.

Return back to the store:

Items purchased at a JD Sports store or online can be returned at any JD Sports store within 30 days of the original purchase. 

To return or exchange an item in a JD Sports store, please bring: 

  1. Your original receipt or your order number.
  2. Your original form of payment. 
  3. Your ID if you are returning a product purchased online. 

Authorization numbers are NOT required for return to a store. We will issue a refund to your original form of payment. 

Return product by mail: 

You can only return product by mail if you purchased it online. To initiate return online, please visit our returns page to submit a request. 

You’ll need your order number and the email address you used to place the order, and then you can select the item(s) you wish to return. 

Once your return request is submitted, our Customer Experience team will get back to you as soon as possible upon review. Approval may take up to 5 business days and requests may be declined if items do not satisfy the requirements of our Return Policy. 

All refunds will be credited to your original form of payment or in a JD Sports store credit.

If we choose to provide you with a refund even if no record of sale is available, we will ask you for personal identification and the return will be provided at the item’s current price in JD Sports store credit.

Please note: 

  • Shipping Charges: Unfortunately, we cannot refund shipping charges if you paid shipping for the returned item. 
  • Returned by Mail: If you paid for a returned item with a credit card, we’ll credit your account within 5 business days after receiving the return. This may show on your next statement, depending on the issuing bank and/or billing cycle. 

CANCEL AND CHANGE REQUESTS

The window of time for cancellations or changes is very short due to our order fulfillment processes. If you need to cancel or change your order, contact Customer Experience as soon as possible. 

We’ll do everything we can to accommodate your request, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that your request will be honoured. If part or all of your order is successfully canceled, we will send you an email for your records. 

Please note: 

  • For order changes, once we have confirmed your order, we cannot change or add anything to the order without attempting to cancel it first. 
  • If your order has already shipped, we won’t be able to cancel the order. If this happens, simply return the order once you receive it. See our Return Policy for further details. We don’t refund shipping for shipped orders.
